Local and International Payments

Whether you need to make an urgent payment within the UK or a secure international payment, the following options are available with our Business Current Account:

• CHAPS
  Send and receive money in Sterling to and from any bank in the UK within 24 hours. This is a particularly useful option for urgent transfers within the UK.
• Next business day payment
  Make or receive multiple payments free of charge, in Sterling, to and from any bank in the UK. Use this service for regular payments such as salary payments or payments to the same supplier. Inward payments will be credited to your account within two hours and outward payments will be completed within one business day after the payment instruction has been received by us. Payment instructions received after the cut-off time or on a non business day will be considered to be received by us on the next business day.

• Currency Accounts
  If you regularly receive or make payments in a foreign currency, a USD or Euro account is a cost effective way of managing such payments. Forget having to convert your money into Sterling each time you make a currency transaction. You can retain your funds in USD or Euro by opening a currency account. You can only deposit cheques or transfer funds online, into and from your USD and Euro accounts. No cash deposits or withdrawals, direct debits or standing orders can be made in the USD or Euro account.
• India Payments
  As one of the market leaders in India, we offer a fast and convenient money transfer service to more than 2,525 branches of ICICI Bank Limited and 55,000 branches of other banks in India.
• International Payments
  Use our secured payment services to send and receive money internationally. A dedicated relationship manager will assist you to get competitive exchange rates that will help you save money when sending or receiving international payments.
