Ms. Chanda Kochhar, MD & CEO - ICICI Bank Limited

Ms. Chanda Kochhar is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of ICICI Bank Limited. She began her career with ICICI as a Management Trainee in 1984 and has thereon successfully risen through the ranks by handling multidimensional assignments and heading all the major functions in the Bank at various points in time.

In 1993 when ICICI decided to enter commercial banking, she was deputed to ICICI Bank as a part of the core team to set up the bank. When ICICI set up the Infrastructure Industry Group in 1996 to create dedicated industry expertise in the areas of Power, Telecom and Transportation sector, she was handpicked and made incharge of the Infrastructure Industry Group.

In July 2000, she was chosen to head the Retail Finance division of ICICI and has been instrumental in scaling up the business. In April 2001, she was promoted as an Executive Director, heading the retail business in the Bank. In April 2006, she was appointed as the Deputy Managing Director with responsibility for both Corporate and Retail banking business of ICICI Bank and from October 2006 to October 2007 she handled the International and Corporate businesses of ICICI. In October 2007, she was appointed as the Joint Managing Director & CFO. She was heading the Corporate Centre, was the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and was also the official spokesperson for ICICI Bank.

Mr. Kannan N.S

Mr. N.S. Kannan is the Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of ICICI Bank. His responsibilities include Finance, Taxation, Corporate Legal, Treasury, Commercial & Investment Banking Group, Corporate Communications and Corporate Branding. He also has the responsibility for day to day administration of the Compliance and Internal Audit functions.

Prior to his current assignment at ICICI Bank, Mr. Kannan was the Executive Director of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company. He was responsible for the Corporate Centre including the Finance & Accounts functions, Investor/analyst relations, Investment Management, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Communications, Human Resources and Business Intelligence. Prior to ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company, Mr. Kannan was the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of ICICI Bank.

Mr. Kannan has been with the ICICI group for over 19 years. He joined the ICICI group in 1991 as a project officer. During his tenure at the ICICI group he has also handled project finance operations, infrastructure financing, structured finance and treasury operations.

Mr. Kannan is a postgraduate in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore with a gold medal for best all-round performance. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India and an Honours graduate in Mechanical Engineering.


Mr. Sudhir Dole

Sudhir Dole is the Managing Director and CEO of ICICI Bank UK PLC.

Mr Dole has been with ICICI Bank for over nine years. In his previous roles with ICICI Bank Mr Dole was heading the Asia, Middle East and Africa offices. He has also been in charge of the International Financial Institution Group, offshore banking unit and the credit trading group. Mr Dole was also responsible for the International resource raising activities (Debt and hybrid capital issuance and loan syndication) of ICICI Bank.

Mr. Dole started his career with ANZ Grindlays Bank, India in 1992. He has worked in a variety of roles spanning trade operations, trade finance sales and corporate relationship management. His last role prior to joining ICICI Bank was at Standard Chartered Bank. Mr. Dole is an alumnus of The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

Mr. John Burbidge

Mr. John Burbidge retired as Chief Executive of the UK Capital Markets business of Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) on July 31, 2011 after successful 27 years in UK Banking Industry. Mr. Burbidge holds a Bachelors degree in Maths & Economics from York University and is a Chartered Accountant.

He has served as a member of RBC’s Global Operating and Capital Markets Committees. He presided over transformational growth, leading and developing people whilst maintaining excellent working relationships with the internal and external stakeholders. This translated into sound financial performance under his leadership, notably through the financial crisis and the subsequent recession. In addition to his well diversified UK experience in RBC, he also has international experience with responsibility for the Asian investment banking operations.

He has served on the Board of CLS Holding for four years and with Bluebay Asset Management as Non Executive Director.

He is married and has a son and a daughter.


Mr. Richard Banks

Mr Richard Banks has over 30 years experience in the UK Banking Industry. He is the CEO of UKAR Asset Resolution Ltd the holding company for the UK government's share holding in Bradford & Bingley plc and Northern Rock Asset Management Ltd and responsible for managing the portfolio of about £ 90bn of mortgage assets. He was earlier a member of the board of the Alliance and Leicester Group for over a decade and latterly the Group Risk Director of Alliance & Leicester until December 2008. He has many years Board Member experience and also served as a Non Executive Director of Visa Europe until October 2008. He serves as a Non Executive Director of Liverpool Compact which provides work experience for young people in Liverpool. Mr Banks is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers. He is married with three children.


Sir Alan Collins, KCVO CMG

Alan, who is a career diplomat, led the work on the businessoutcomes from the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics as Managing Director for Olympic Legacy in United Kingdom Trade and Investment.

Alan was Consul-General, New York and Director-General, Trade & Investment USA from 2007 to 2011. He was responsible for British political relations in one of the most important cities in the world, and for the nine trade and investment teams across the US whose job is to promote British business.

From 2003 to 2006, Alan was British High Commissioner to Singapore where he was heavily involved with London's winning bid for the 2012 Olympics and Her Majesty the Queen's State Visit.

He was seconded to Shell in 2002 as Vice President for International Relations responsible for the company's global relationships with governments.

Earlier, Alan was the British Ambassador in the Philippines. He has also been the Head of the British Trade and Cultural Office in Taipei. Alan has served in a variety of jobs in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London and as Deputy Ambassador at the British Embassy in Addis Ababa.

Alan is a non-Executive Director of Amlin plc, Prudential Assurance Company Singapore Pte Ltd and JP Morgan American Investment Trust plc. He is the non-Executive Chairman of Nair&Co Ltd and Powertec Energy Ltd and a Partner in HEC Sports Consultants.

Alan was educated at Strand School and the London School of Economics. He is a member of the MCC and the Royal Commonwealth Society and is a Freeman of the City of London.

Mr. Alan Collins

Mr. Jonathan Britton

Mr. Jonathan Britton has retired as the Finance Director and Head of Strategy for the Wholesale Division of Lloyds Banking Group.  Before joining Lloyds he led a global finance function for a top-tier investment bank, which included running a global strategy function, a merger due diligence and integration function, as well as bringing in new finance systems. At Lloyds, Mr. Britton chaired the Wholesale Asset Reduction Committee and the Equity Valuation Committee; and was a member of the Corporate Real Estate Board as well as the Wholesale Executive Committee.

Mr. Britton is a post graduate in Engineering Science from Oxford University and also completed an ACA degree from the UK in 1980. Since then he has gained 32 years of post qualification experience which has included various profiles from Group Controller & Head of Treasury, COO, CFO, Head of Operations, Head of Finance and Finance Director.
