You can open a Savings Account if you’re 18 or above, live in the UK and have a personal current account. At times, we may ask for proof of identity or address to complete our checks. If you’re opening a Child (Minor) Savings Account, the process is handled by a parent or legal guardian. They must hold a UK personal current account and provide the child’s identification details along with documents confirming their relationship. HiSAVE Savings Account is designed for regular UK savings, helping you grow money steadily with easy access.

New customers can apply online in a few minutes. Existing customers can open more accounts through online banking or by calling us. After approval, we’ll email your login details and the next steps.

Your money is covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme up to £120,000 per eligible depositor. Joint accounts are protected up to £240,000, giving you strong security and peace of mind.

Most people are verified electronically using trusted data sources. If we can’t confirm your details online, we will ask for simple documents such as a passport, driving licence, or a recent utility bill.

Our Savings Account is a savings account that pays you interest and is linked to your ICICI Bank UK Personal Current Account. You can only open a Savings Account if you have a Personal Current Account with us. The interest rate you earn might change from time to time, as notified by us. There are no withdrawal penalties with the Savings Account – you can make a partial or full withdrawal from the account without attracting any penalty.

Our Savings Account will help you earn great returns on your savings. You can move your funds whenever you like from your Savings Account to your ICICI Bank UK Personal Current Account, and vice versa. The easiest way to do this is through ICICI Bank UK online banking. If you hold a joint account with us, we will act upon the instructions we receive from any of the joint account holders; or we will act as per the conditions you may specify when opening the account. If you discover any errors or discrepancies, you must tell us as soon as possible.

Each joint account holder is liable individually as well as jointly with the other joint account holders.
